The HiFiMan headphone comfort strap is available as a downloadable file for users with FDM 3D printers. This version is specifically designed to be printed using TPU material, ensuring flexibility and comfort once attached to your headphones.

 Attachment Instructions

After printing the strap in TPU, you can attach it securely to the original headband. There are two recommended methods for installation:

• Double-sided adhesive tape: Apply the tape to the underside of the printed strap, then press it firmly onto the headband for a reliable hold.
• B7000 glue or similar adhesive: Use a glue like B7000 to create a strong bond between the strap and the headband, ensuring stability during use.

Fitting Guidance

For visual guidance on the installation process, refer to the video below that demonstrates how to fit the leather version of the comfort strap. The same principles apply when installing the 3D printed TPU version.

Important Notice

While the modification process is relatively simple, it is important to proceed with care to avoid potential damage to the headphones. The mod can generally be completed safely and quickly if instructions are followed attentively. However it should be noted that any damage incurred during installation is the responsibility of the user.
