Description

This is our new V3 mass loading and damping kit for the Beyerdynamic DT990. It reduces the treble peak and increases the bass to give a fuller, less harsh sound signature. Check out the video below for a fitting guide and some comparisons. The kit comes with pre-cut foam inserts and copper ring weights. No special tools are needed to fit it, you will need a thin flat head screwdriver and a butter knife. The kit is reversible as long as you keep any pieces you remove during the process.
Even though the kit is pretty easy to fit, modding is not without it’s dangers. If you are not confident you will be able to perform the operation your self without damaging anything, you can send them in to us to be modded. We cannot be held responsible for any damage you may cause by incorrect fitting.
