Beyerdynamic DT990 Mass Loading & Damping Kit V3 Custom Cans

This is our new V3 mass loading and damping kit for the Beyerdynamic DT990. It reduces the treble peak and increases the bass to give a fuller, less harsh sound signature.

The kit comes with pre-cut foam inserts and copper ring weights.

No special tools are needed to fit it, you will need a thin flat head screwdriver and a butter knife.

The kit is reversible as long as you keep any pieces you remove during the process.

Even though the kit is pretty easy to fit, modding is not without it’s dangers.

If you are not confident you will be able to perform the operation your self without damaging anything, you can send them in to us to be modded. We cannot be held responsible for any damage you may cause by incorrect fitting.

Customer service and warranty

We know that you are paying a premium for our headphones. Which is why we make our headphones durable and reliable. But in the unlikely event that you do have an issue with them, please get in contact with us. We are happy to help you. We offer a full 2 year ‘return to base’ warranty, and we keep all spare parts in stock, so that we can also send replacement parts if necessary. Outside of the warranty period we still offer repairs on all our products for a fair price.

International orders

Close to 70% of our customers are outside of the UK, so we have a lot of experience with international orders and worldwide shipping. All packages over £50 have a form of international tracking.

– European packages normally take 4-6 days.
– US, AUS and Canada packages normally take 7-10 Days.
– Packages sent to the rest of the world can vary depending on local postal services.
– Packages shipping outside of the EU may be delayed in customs, but the tracking system should keep you updated of its progress.

(For customers outside of the UK only) Unfortunately, customs duties and fees may be charged when ordering from outside of the UK. This is outside of our control. we are NOT responsible for import duties. We will NOT write false information on a customs document in order to lower fees. All items have the UK tax removed and this will need to be paid by yourself when your item arrives at your local customs office.
