Kit Overview

The latest upgrade kit for the Sennheiser HD25 headphones is designed to re-tune the headphones by addressing the pronounced hump in the upper midrange and enhancing bass response. By applying this modification, users can achieve a more balanced sound profile with improved low-frequency performance. The CNC cut copper weights and acoustic foam work together to mass load and dampen the ear cups, resulting in a smoother frequency response.

Installation Overview

The copper weights are precut and self-adhesive, for easy installation. The kit includes a pry tool, which ensures that users open the ear cups safely during installation.

Compatibility:

HD25, HD25-1, HD25-c, HD25-1 BE, HD25-1 LE. We can do a version for the Amperior or HD25 aluminium on request.

Important Notice

While the modification process is relatively simple, it is important to proceed with care to avoid potential damage to the headphones. The mod can generally be completed safely and quickly if instructions are followed attentively. However it should be noted that any damage incurred during installation is the responsibility of the user.

Do not use this kit with the HD25sp 60ohm version!

For those who are hesitant about performing the modification themselves, there is an option to have the kit professionally installed. This service is available for a fee of £20 plus postage costs.

We know that you are paying a premium for our headphones. Which is why we make our headphones durable and reliable. But in the unlikely event that you do have an issue with them, please get in contact with us. We are happy to help you. We offer a full 2 year ‘return to base’ warranty, and we keep all spare parts in stock, so that we can also send replacement parts if necessary. Outside of the warranty period we still offer repairs on all our products for a fair price.

International orders

Close to 70% of our customers are outside of the UK, so we have a lot of experience with international orders and worldwide shipping. All packages over £50 have a form of international tracking.

– European packages normally take 4-6 days.
– US, AUS and Canada packages normally take 7-10 Days.
– Packages sent to the rest of the world can vary depending on local postal services.
– Packages shipping outside of the EU may be delayed in customs, but the tracking system should keep you updated of its progress.
