Installation Guide
For visual guidance on the installation process, refer to the video below.
Important Considerations
For optimal performance, it is recommended to combine the installation of this copper weight with the removal of the foam disk located at the rear of the driver. Removing the foam disk further improves the resolution, taking full advantage of the increased mass and airflow characteristics to elevate the sound quality of these already highly regarded headphones.
Designed for compatibility with the HD600, HD650, and HD580 models, this versatile mod kit allows audiophiles to customise their sound profile with ease. The result is a finely tuned, immersive audio experience, with enhanced bass and improved resolution, perfect for those seeking to elevate the performance of their headphones.
Important Notice
While the modification process is relatively simple, it is important to proceed with care to avoid potential damage to the headphones. The mod can generally be completed safely and quickly if instructions are followed attentively. However it should be noted that any damage incurred during installation is the responsibility of the user.
Professional Installation Service
For those who are hesitant about performing the modification themselves, there is an option to have the kit professionally installed. This service is available for a fee of £20 plus postage costs.

Chris –
I have performed this mod on two pairs of HD600s (removing the foam disk and adding the ‘3’ foam) and it’s an absolute pleasure. Super easy to install, well machined and sounds fantastic. What more could you ask for?
Wasunt –
At first, instant regret. I slapped these on and watched the beloved Sennheiser clarity get swallowed whole by a runaway low end I couldn’t undo. It felt like I’d permanently modded my way straight into an audio swamp. But then I hit the equalizer, switched to the acoustic setting, and suddenly everything snapped into place. The clarity returned with the extra bass we desperately needed. Now? Stupidly good. Happy.
