Description

Grados have always been popular in the modding community. We can perform most of the most popular mods; like re-cabling, converting to balanced and adding damping material. If there are any particular mods not listed just message us and we will see what we can do, we have the tools and skills to make most modifications.

There may be an additional charge for some of the wooden models as the drivers take a lot longer to remove safely. We also have full spray booth facilities if you want them customised.

We offer an upgrade service where we replace the stock mesh with a better flowing but finer mesh. This makes the headphones much more resistant to dust and debris intrusion which is a common issue with Grados. They are often full of dust and particles that settle on the driver and affect the sound over time. We clean the inside of the headphones and replace the mesh so the issue will not recur. This mesh also flows a little better with the side-benefit of making the headphones sound a little more open and precise.
With this, we also install damping material around the inside of the cup and on the back of the driver. This reduces resonance and distortion a little and makes the bass more accurate with less boom but more impact and precision.

Just choose your mods and checkout, then we will email you with the postage details and work out the finer details of mods/design.

This is a send in service. After purchasing the mods, you will need to send your headphones in to us for modding. We will email you with our address after the order is placed.

Once we receive the headphones, they will be modded and then shipped back out to you.

If you are shipping your headphones to CustomCans from outside the UK, you MUST mark them as “return/repair”

This will prevent having to pay double customs fees.
