Kit Overview

The kit consists a support strap to spread the weight of the headphones over a larger area and take the pressure off the top of your head. This kit also replaces the original shoulder pieces that house the slider mechanism which is a weak point on this range. So if you find the original head pad creates a hot spot at the top of your head this kit is ideal but also, if your head pad is warn out or the shoulders have cracked, this will fix those issues as well for a sensible price

Installation Process

There is a video below that shows the installation process but overall it is pretty easy to install. You need to unscrew the original shoulder pieces using a Torx T10 screwdriver. Install the original screws in the inside shoulder piece to hold them in place and then re-assemble everything

Important Notice

While the modification process is relatively simple, it is important you proceed with care to avoid potential damage to the headphones. The mod can be completed safely and quickly if instructions are followed attentively. However it should be noted that any damage incurred during installation is the responsibility of the user.

Professional Installation Service

For those who are hesitant about installing the Beyerdynamic comfort support strap themselves, there is an option to have the kit professionally installed. This service is available for a fee of £20 plus postage costs.

But in the unlikely event that you do have an issue with them, please get in contact with us. We are happy to help you. We offer a full 2 year ‘return to base’ warranty, and we keep all spare parts in stock, so that we can also send replacement parts if necessary. Outside of the warranty period we still offer repairs on all our products for a fair price.
