Ultimate cable for T&A Solitaire P – Headphone Cable Upgrade

Overview

This is an audiophile grade cable designed to be not only electrically perfect, but also to look and feel truly high end.

This version is designed for the T&A Solitaire P.

What makes them most special is the embroidered silk covers. They are made with 4 internal channels that keep the individual cores as separated as possible. The covers are woven in the UK to our own specifications using heavy weight silk for more durability and to give the look and feel of a high end designer product. The cores are made from type 2 silk wrapped litz wire made up of 168 individually insulated strands of 0.071mm copper or silver. This gives a total cross-sectional area of 0.665mm2 which is slightly thicker than 19 AWG but because it is litz it does not have any skin effect until well over 500khz.
These cables also have even lower capacitance than our standard cables.

This all means that there is no change in the signal from the amp to the headphone, no crosstalk and totally flat from 1hz all the way to 100khz. This is all massive overkill for audio but is does mean you are definitely not missing any performance from your equipment.

Variations

We offer these with two options on the wire. Our standard natural silk wrapped copper litz and out new natural silk wrapped OCC pure silver litz. As you can imagine, custom made pure silver wire is insanely expensive to get made and the price reflects that. The OCC silver wire will be around 7% more conductive than copper

Customer service and warranty

We know that you are paying a premium for our headphones. Which is why we make our headphones durable and reliable. But in the unlikely event that you do have an issue with them, please get in contact with us. We are happy to help you. We offer a full 2 year ‘return to base’ warranty, and we keep all spare parts in stock, so that we can also send replacement parts if necessary. Outside of the warranty period we still offer repairs on all our products for a fair price.

International orders

Close to 70% of our customers are outside of the UK, so we have a lot of experience with international orders and worldwide shipping. All packages over £50 have a form of international tracking.

– European packages normally take 4-6 days.
– US, AUS and Canada packages normally take 7-10 Days.
– Packages sent to the rest of the world can vary depending on local postal services.
– Packages shipping outside of the EU may be delayed in customs, but the tracking system should keep you updated of its progress.
