Improve Headphone Sound Quality<\/h1>\n<h2>Kit Overview<\/h2>\n<p>The mass loading and damping kit for the Sennheiser HD25 headphones is designed to re-tune the headphones by addressing the pronounced hump in the upper midrange and enhancing bass response. By applying this modification, users can achieve a more balanced sound profile with improved low-frequency performance. The lead weights mass load the driver.<\/p>\n<h2>Kit Contents<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Damping material<\/li>\n<li>2 x 4.5mm lead strips<\/li>\n<li>8 x 6mm lead strips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Installation Overview<\/h2>\n<p>Install the kit in two phases:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase one: <\/strong>tightens up the bass to make them sound a bit more open, improving the sound-stage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phase two<\/strong> is optional and involves opening up the driver. Performing phase two incorrectly can irreparably damage the driver. Therefore, we only recommend it for skilled users.<\/p>\n<p>All the pieces are self-adhesive. Stick the weights into place and cut the pre-marked damping material along the lines for a perfect fit. The mod can generally be completed safely and quickly if instructions are followed attentively. Outside of the warranty period we still offer repairs on all our products for a fair price.<\/p>\n<h2>International orders<\/h2>\n<p>Close to 70% of our customers are outside of the UK, so we have a lot of experience with international orders and worldwide shipping. All packages over \u00a350 have a form of international tracking.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 European packages normally take 4-6 days.<br \/>\n\u2013 US, AUS and Canada packages normally take 7-10 Days.<br \/>\n\u2013 Packages sent to the rest of the world can vary depending on local postal services.<br \/>\n\u2013 Packages shipping outside of the EU may be delayed in customs, but the tracking system should keep you updated of its progress.<\/p>\n<p>(For customers outside of the UK only) Unfortunately, customs duties and fees may be charged when ordering from outside of the UK.
