Because of this it is handy to be able to switch the headphones to mono so you get the full sound from the one ear you are using. Some high end headphones like the pioneer hdj-1000 have a mono switch already for this purpose. Unfortunately this feature is still quite rear but&#8230; We can uprate most headphones with a mono switch for a small fee. This also gives you the option of choosing  what kind of switch you have. It could be something subtle or an oversized brightly coloured one.
