Even though all mixers have a 1\/4″ headphone connector nearly all DJ headphones have a 3.5mm jack with a 1\/4″ adaptor. Here at custom cans we like to give the option uprating the 3.5mm jack to a proper 1\/4″ jack. This gives not only better sound as there are fewer connections but also means you will never turn up at a gig and realise you have lost the adaptor. I am sure you must have done that once….. You get there, unpack and then realise you have lost the 1\/4″ adaptor… Nightmare.<\/p>\n

Here is a picture of some HD25-1 which have had a full size jack fitted. These are trickier that most headphones as they use a steel cable instead of copper for strength.
